Zusammenfassung: | The objective of the work was to evaluate the effectiveness of organic and ecological physionutritional treatments on the yield of fine aroma national cocoa. The investigation was carried out from February 2022 to February 2023, in La Vanilla site in Canuto parish in Chone Canton, Manabí Province. The evaluated treatments were soil organic-mineral amendments (T1), soil organic-mineral amendments + soil biostimulant (T2), soil organic-mineral amendments + soil and foliar biostimulant (T3), conventional chemical fertilization (T4) and control treatment (T5). A completely randomized block design (DBCA) was used, with five treatments, four repetitions and 20 experimental units. The main variables recorded were grain yield (kg ha-1) and net economic benefit (USD ha-1). The grain yield was significantly influenced (p<0.05) by the fertilization treatments evaluated, where the teatments T3 and T4 achieved the highest yield with 1972 and 1935, in relation to the other treatments that reached lower productivity. Similarly. The greatest net benefits or fertilization were archieved with treatments T3 and T4, with 2570 and 2270 USD ha-1, respectively. The results denote that, although organic fertilization is true, it does not achieve the agronomic yields of conventional chemical fertilization, the higher price offered for certified organic cocoa financially compensates for the lower yield, so organic fertilization can be viable for the production of certified cocoa. |
