Резюме:Productive activities of sugar cane cultivation were identified in the rural community of Soledad in them of Junín, province of Manabí. This research was non-experimental; descriptive methodology and techniques including interviews and meetings were used. Results showed that sugar cane production is characterized, before and after harvesting, by a series of activities, of which their sequences were hereby identified. These include soil preparation, seed source, sowing time and distribution, weed removal, pest control, fertilization, irrigation and production efficiency. A flowchart was elaborated detailing inputs and outputs. Results show that all of the above mentioned activities generate jobs in the community. Soil analyses were carried out for environmental quality determination. Soil samples were sent to the soil and plant tissue testing laboratory of the instituto autónomo de investigación agropecuaria (INIAP) at estación experimental tropical Pichilingue for analysis. Two soil samples (one before harvesting and the other after harvesting) were used for laboratory analysis. Additionally, various subsamples were sent to the laboratory after homogenization. With the obtained results, it was possible to create a management plant for improving the production process of sugar cane cultivation in relation to environmental quality of soil. In the environmental management plan, a list of programs is shown for controlling and mitigating impacts originated from agricultural activities.
