Riassunto:SUMMARY The following research was conducted at the Agricultural Polytechnic School of Manabí Manuel Felix Lopez, with the topic "use of the addition of vinasse as a food supplement in broilers Cobb 500", aiming to characterize the productive behavior when using vinasse distillery in the diet, 144 chickens were used from the line "cobb 500" of both sexes, from one day of age with an average weight of 46g, which were divided into four consecutive trials from the eighth day of breeding. The birds were distributed randomly among the experimental treatments: a control without vinasse and the other three treatments were supplemented vinasse to food at a dose of 05, 10 and 15 mL / bird / day. For statistical evaluation, we employed a (RTD) with simple variance analysis, the measures found were adjusted with the Tukey test. The experimental results showed significant differences (p <0.05) in weight of birds, and feed conversion. The coefficient of variation in weight was between 0.6% and 4.51%, the coefficient of variation in feed intake was between 0.2% and 0.4% coefficient of variation in feed conversion was between 0.38% and 5%. Regarding mortality treating 15mL and 10mL of vinasse obtained lower mortality rate with a percentage of (0.36%) and the highest mortality percentage had the treatment 00mL with a percentage of (3.24%). In economic analysis, the treatment with higher profitability was 10 mL of vinasse with a marginal rate of return of 27%. Square 04.12. Key words: poultry, vinasse
