Shrnutí:This study addresses occupational risk factors and their impact on workplace well-being, a topic of great interest as administrative staff generally spend most of their day at their workplace, which necessitates a safe and comfortable environment for optimal performance. The objective was to analyze the incidence of occupational risk factors on the safety and health of the administrative staff of the GAD of Bolívar canton to improve workplace well-being. A mixed-methods approach was employed, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative levels, with exploratory and descriptive scope. This included data collection through surveys, workplace inspections, and the application of statistical tools such as frequency and reliability analysis of the instrument. Additionally, a risk assessment matrix based on the NTP 330 methodology was applied. The main results revealed that the most significant risks with the greatest impact on the health and safety of the administrative staff were excessive noise, inadequate lighting, high temperature levels, and work-related stress. These factors reached risk levels requiring immediate correction and the adoption of control measures through an improvement plan that includes strategies for the elimination, reduction, or mitigation of the evaluated occupational risks.
