الملخص: | The research consisted of relating hatching time to organ structural development and production parameters in BB COBB-500 chicks. It was validated using the experimental method, observation techniques and analysis of parameters with an alpha value of 5%, in a total of 400 experimental units, for 6 weeks. It was developed in three stages: 1) effect of hatching time on organ weight during biological age; 2) effect of hatching time on productive parameters during normal rearing age; and 3) cost/benefit of treatments and estimation of Tir and Van. No significant differences were found for yolk sac weight; heart and stomach, but significant differences were found for liver (p<0.03); therefore T1 was the best for yolk sac development during biological age. At week 6, body weight ranged from 2536.2 for T2 to 2745.2g for T1; weight gain from 584.4 for T4 to 703.4g for T1; cumulative feed intake from 4207.4 for T4 to 4749.8g; for T1. T3 significantly outperformed the other treatments with feed conversion between 1.58-1.73. Mortality of T1 was the highest (8%) and T2 the lowest (3%). T3 (498-503h) was assessed as the most economically viable; although T1 (486-491h) showed better organ development during biological age and increased the level of productive parameters during rearing age. |
