| Tóm tắt: | The objective of this research was to evaluate the situation of gender equity in the Agricultural Engineering career at ESPAM MFL in order to promote equal opportunities between men and women. Within the methodology used, the survey technique applied to the students of the Agricultural Engineering career stands out; an interview was also applied to the Director of the Agricultural Engineering Career and the Vice Rector of Student Welfare, in order to identify the main obstacles faced by women in the Agricultural Engineering major to achieve gender equality, on the other hand, within the research methods that were carried out are the inductive and deductive methods that allowed understanding the problem and its characteristics. In the results, during the five periods investigated there are more men enrolled than women, indicating a persistent and valuable presence in this traditionally masculine field. Also, 43% and 24% of respondents stated that the university does not have clear policies against harassment and discrimination, and 43% and 19% stated that academic programs do not offer flexibility to adapt to gender needs, however 52% stated that the university's common spaces are designed with gender needs in mind. In conclusion, it is imperative to implement more inclusive policies and adapt academic programs to accommodate gender needs. |
