Omschrijving
Samenvatting:The purpose of this research was to find the right dose to stabilize the sludge generated by the settlers, the water treatment plant, The Estancilla-Manabi to make organic compost, which will reduce the source of pollution that is causing basin Carrizal river, for what was planned to implement a complete block design with random sequence intervals [20% (4:1), 40% (3:2), 60% (2:3) and 80% (1 : 4)] in the lime mud mixtures respectively with four replicates per treatment. The results of the objectives initially indicated in his characterization that the type of material generated in the settlers is silt loam, in chemical analysis of the sludge prior to stabilization, we determined that the sludge chemical parameters such as metals (aluminum, cadmium, lead and mercury) exceeding the maximum permissible limits for discharges to a receiving body as indicating the TULAS, and the same goes for bacteriological analysis, for stabilization of sludge suitable dose was 20% (4kg mud and 1 kg of lime) because the temperature drop along the stabilization process helps to increase pH and greater than 12 to reduce pathogens, despite the reduction of heavy metals not reach significant levels, although in microbiological analysis was highly effective in reducing coliform. It was determined that can produce organic compost, from sludge generated in the following stabilization settlers although heavy metal levels were very high.
