| description | The research aimed to design a tourist route in the cantons San Vicente, Jama and Pedernales, for which we developed a methodology that allowed the design of the tourist route Playa Verde. Developed a multiple diagnosis of the cantons involved in the proposal, such results allowed identifying existing attractions making way for the selection of those to be included, promoted and developed on the tourist trail. Were selected around 38 attractions, the route Playa Verde has an area of 142.8 km, covering three counties in the northern part of the province of Manabí. The route Playa Verde aims to promote socio-economic development of the communities involved in tourism activities while the plant is improved service and new products are offered in order to increase the influence of visitors. |

The route Playa Verde aims to promote socio-economic development of the communities involved in tourism activities while the plant is improved service and new products are offered in order to increase the influence of visitors.La investigación tuvo como objetivo el diseño de una ruta turística en los cantones San Vicente, Jama y Pedernales, para lo cual se desarrolló un procedimiento metodológico que permitiese el diseño de la ruta turística Playa Verde. Fueron estructurados las fases, etapas y métodos aplicados en el desarrollo de la investigación teniendo como referencia metodológica diferentes autores en los cuales ha sido sustentado el proyecto. Se elaboró un diagnóstico múltiple de los cantones involucrados en la propuesta, tales resultados permitieron identificar los atractivos existentes dando paso a la selección de aquellos que serán incluidos, promocionados y desarrollados en la ruta turística. Fueron seleccionados alrededor de 38 atractivos turísticos; la ruta Playa Verde posee una extensión de 142,8 km, abarcando tres cantones de la zona norte de la provincia de Manabí.
