Plan estratégico para el aprovechamiento agroturístico del circuito de cacao fino de aroma en Manabí

The present general objective is to elaborate a strategic plan that contributes to the agroturistic use of the circuit of Fine Cacao of Aroma in Manabí; The information was compiled through bibliographical and field research, where three specific objectives were established: structure the methodological procedure for the design of the plan; The agrotourism diagnosis and formulate the strategic plan. Several components were identified that impede the use of agrotourism, such as the lack of tourist infrastructure, insufficient signage and lack of knowledge of agro-tourism potential. The results were achieved with the application of methods, techniques and tools according to each phase of the methodology. The first phase was determined through situational diagnosis, applying tools such as filter surveys for communities where it was corroborated that 76% of the population under study engaged in agricultural activity, the SWOT matrix was also applied, corroborating the main limitations and Opportunities they have, giving way to the design of the EFI and EFE matrices; In the market study phase, there was a lack of tourism in the communities; Regarding the demand, the interest of visiting agro-tourism estates was established and the needs are paramount. The strategy design phase and the control and monitoring phase were based on analyzing the results of the first phase, such as the SWOT analysis and the study Of PLANDETUR. In conclusion, six programs and eleven projects based on PLANDETUR 2020 and the results of the diagnosis are proposed.
