| 要約: | The purpose of this research was to evaluate activated carbon from agricultural residues (rice husks and pineapple husks) for the removal of solids in wastewater in starch industries in the Bejuquillo, Canuto, Manabí community. Activation with phosphoric acid H3PO4 (85%) was carried out to obtain the activated carbon from the rice husk residue, and activation with nitric acid (80%) was carried out to obtain the activated carbon from the pineapple husk. A one-factor factorial design was used, where a total of 5 treatments with 3 replicates each were evaluated, in addition, a commercial activated carbon control was used. Where different parameters were determined (Total Solids, Turbidity, Color, pH). Once the treatments were applied, it was possible to show that T4 presented the best results for the parameters of turbidity (75.02%), color (89.55%), ST (76.2%) and pH (6.55). On the other hand, the treatment with the least efficiency reported within the investigation was T5, where an efficiency of 32.26% in turbidity, 32.02% in color, 22.21% in ST and 5.37% in color was obtained pH. |
