Auditoría a la seguridad informática de tecnologías de información en el área de sistemas del GAD municipal del cantón Chone

The present research of intervention consisted in carrying out a control study that is carried out in the systems area of the Autonomous Municipal Government of Chone Canton, the same that consists of an internal audit. We used the field method and bibliography that consists of three phases which are: accumulation of reference, selection of references and signed. In the first phase, the necessary information about the studied norm was investigated and collected, then a matrix was made which contains a matrix of content, the technique of the interview about the information security was applied with the person in charge of the department of the GAD Chone, this instrument helped the author to learn about important issues in the department. With all the information obtained from the 410-10 standard of the General Comptroller of the state, the same that was done to the area manager together with a survey that allowed the internal evaluation; important information that helped establish the problems that arise in this department and thus comply with laws and regulations related to the aforementioned standard. Jointly in carrying out an analysis, it was established that the Technology department of GAD Chone has not fully complied with the internal control standards (410-10) of the general comptroller of the state, for lack of concern of the authorities, for lack of budget and mainly because of the apathy of the persons responsible for the area.
