Eficiencia en la logística de medicamentos del Hospital "Dr. Aníbal González Álava" Cantón Bolívar, Provincia de Manabí.

This research had as main objective implementing of an accounting system in the logistics of drugs at the Dr. Aníbal González Álava in the City of Calceta, which was intended to improve medical and pharmaceutical services provided by the institution to its users. For the development of this work it was necessary to implement different types of research such as: qualitative, quantitative and field work, helping to meet the objectives of this research, it was necessary to analyze the current status of services provided by the health center, through interviews, surveys and collect bibliographical references; these activities were conducted in six months of which were presented in the schedule of activities allowing to control the execution process. For the purposes of the surveys it included a representative sample of 640 citizens of Canton Bolivar and interviews were applied to staff working in the hospital, the result obtained from this research was tabulated and analyzed according to the relevant purposes, work also showed the inventory of medicines to know the state in which they were located and thus proceeded to the implementation of an accounting software for better performance of the logistics activities of the pharmacy.. It was also have findings and recommendations which were expressed at the health center to be taken into account and obtain a better efficiency in their daily work.
