Evaluación de los pasivos ambientales puntuales sobre el recurso natural agua, de la subcuenca media del río carrizal

The present investigation focused on one of the environmental problems known as “environmental liabilities”, about the water resource in the middle sub-basin of the Carrizal Bolívar River, Manabí, which is reflected in the results that we could resemble in the study areas which were: the oxidation lagoons of Calceta and Quiroga and banana plantations located in El Limón sector; these results obtained through the IIRSA and Córdoba methodology allowed us to evaluate the liabilities, getting as a conclusion that in the lagoons of Calceta and Quiroga there is a higher incidence of contamination, justifying the parameters of the oxidation lagoon of Quiroga, Dissolved Oxygen E1: 4.5, E2: 4.1 and E3: 4.3% of Sat, E-Coli E1: 20x101 E2: 23x101 and E3: 21x101 Col / 100 ml, which exceed the permissible limits established by the Unified Text of Secondary Legislation of the Ministry of Environment (TULSMA). As a result of the aforementioned, proposals for mitigation measures in general for significant environmental liabilities were made.
