Then, a structured survey using the Likert scale was developed and applied to the public servants, and the results were analyzed. The second phase allowed for establishing the influence of soft skills on the work environment. Finally, in the third phase, an improvement plan was developed using the 5W+1H matrix to address identified weaknesses. The results demonstrated a significant relationship between the study variables, reaffirming the importance of possessing soft skills to improve the work environment. In conclusion, this research confirms the importance of strengthening these skills, making it essential to implement pertinent actions. Thus, a plan directed at the institution's authorities was proposed. |

Thus, a plan directed at the institution's authorities was proposed.La investigación se efectuó con la finalidad de analizar las habilidades blandas de los servidores públicos del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Chone para la determinación de su influencia en el clima laboral, por lo que se desarrollaron tres fases que corresponden a cada uno de los objetivos específicos de la indagación: en primera instancia se estableció el estado del arte sobre las dos variables de estudio, para lo cual se realizó una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica sobre las normativas internas y externas sobre las habilidades blandas y el clima laboral, luego se elaboró una encuesta estructurada a través de la escala de Likert, seguidamente se la aplicó a los servidores y se analizaron los resultados; la segunda fase permitió el establecimiento de la influencia existente de las habilidades blandas en el clima laboral; por último, en la tercera fase se desarrolló un plan de mejoras utilizando la matriz 5W+1H, para dar solución a las debilidades presentadas. Los resultados demostraron una relación importante en cuanto a las variables de estudio, lo que logra reafirmar lo fundamental de poseer habilidades blandas para mejorar el clima laboral.
