| Περίληψη: | The research was carried out in the Bovino Herd of the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López (ESPAM-MFL). Its purpose was to determine the economic and financial feasibility of the production process and started from the diagnosis of said process and compliance with Good Practices before, during and after Milking (BPO). For the development of the research, specific diagnostic tools were used, among them are: the interview, the weighting of the BPOs and the procedures for the creation of synthetic indices that allowed defining the level of compliance with the BPOs in the area. With the application of the W- Kendall coefficient, the degree of agreement between the specialists in the evaluation of compliance with the BPO was determined, resulting in W = 0.619 with P <0.001; which indicated a high strength of agreement. The general index of compliance with the BPO (0.419) was determined, according to the scale created, they were moderately fulfilled. An improvement program was developed to mitigate non-compliance activities in milking. The unit maintains moderate levels of milk production, with economic-financial indicators that require reconversion. A projection of productive indicators was made that started from the increase in the percentage of milking cows and the yield. The economic-financial perspective places the unit as a business plan oriented to the breeding and feeding of 60 dairy cows, with objective possibilities of economic and financial feasibility, which can show excellent health and animal welfare conditions, to provide a product of excellent quality. |
