Ամփոփում:In order to evaluate the serum level of antimüllerian hormone (HAM) as biomarker in the production of embryos in vivo and in vitro in Brahman females, an investigation was made in the National Institute of Agricultural Research of Ecuador INIAP, located in Pichilingüe parish, Mocache canton, Los Ríos Province. Two trials were conducted under a completely randomized design with factorial treatment arrangement. Factor A corresponded to the category of the animal (cow and heifer) and Factor B corresponded to the HAM levels (150-250 and 250-350 ng/ml), with three repetitions. The determination of HAM in blood serum was carried out in the Unimevet Microbiology laboratory by means of MOFA® kits. For the in vitro essay was carried out the superovulation protocol. Descriptive analysis of the variables, analysis of the variance, tests of averages and regression adjustments were made. No effects of HAM levels or female categories were found on oocyte production in vivo or on in vitro embryo production. Embryo production in vivo was favored within the serum levels of the antimüllerian hormone of 250-350 ng/ml, with an average of 6.67 embryos. During the superovulation process, a greater number of G3 oocytes cells was obtained within the HAM levels of 150-250 ng/ml. The Brahman cows produced a greater number of expanded blastocysts than the heifers.
