The data was obtained through the database of the commercial houses that sell these bulls in Ecuador, 23 of them that met the HTP parameters were taken. These parameters were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics where a linear correlation analysis was carried out by the Pearson method, using the software for statistical analysis Infostat 2019. The results of the genetic correlations between production and body characteristics show that a large part of they give negative values and of low significance, where the most relevant in terms of milk production with linear characteristics occurred in milk fat yield and leg position (curvature-side view) with a value of 0.562 , while related to the characteristics of the udder, it was presented in the correlation of milk production with depth of the udder with a value of 0.693; likewise, the relationships between body characteristics are given in length of the rump with width between the ilium with a value of 0.748, and related to those of the udder, it shows a correlation between the rear udder and the position of the leg (curvature - side view) with a value of 0.622. It is concluded that not all the characteristics of the marketed bulls have significant correlations. |

It is concluded that not all the characteristics of the marketed bulls have significant correlations.Este estudio tuvo como objetivo estimar la correlación genética entre Habilidad predicha de transmisión (HTP) de producción, parámetros de calidad de leche y características corporales en toros Gyr con evaluación genética disponibles en el Ecuador. Los datos se obtuvieron por medio de la base de datos de las casas comerciales que comercializan dichos toros en Ecuador, fueron tomados 23 de ellos que cumplían con los parámetros de HTP. Dichos parámetros se analizaron por medio de estadística descriptiva donde se realizó un análisis de correlación lineal por el método de Pearson, mediante el uso del software para análisis estadístico Infostat 2019. Los resultados de las correlaciones genéticas entre producción y características corporales presentan que gran parte de las mismas dan valores negativos y de baja significancia, donde las de mayor relevancia en cuanto a producción de leche con características lineales se dio en rendimiento de la grasa en la leche y posición de la pierna (curvatura- vista lateral)) con valor de 0,562, mientras que relacionada con las características de la ubre se presentó en la correlación producción de leche con profundidad de la ubre con valor de 0,693; así mismo las relaciones entre particularidades corporales se dan en longitud de la grupa con anchura entre ilion con valor de 0,748, y relacionadas con las de la ubre muestra correlación entre ubre posterior con posición de la pierna (curvatura - vista lateral) con valor de 0,622.
