| Sumari: | The purpose of the research is to make briquettes to obtain energy biomass from sugarcane bagasse waste, coming from El Caucho community, Junín canton. Experimental research was used, with bibliographic, deductive, and statistical analysis methods in a completely randomized design, with 3 treatments and 9 repetitions (T1 bagasse pulp plus 180 ml of water, plus 20 grams of cassava starch, T2 peel 180 ml of water, plus 20 grams of cassava starch, T3 combination of pulp bagasse and husk 180 ml of water, plus 20 grams of cassava starch) in three repetitions. The variables where the best results were obtained were: T1 with humidity 8.93%, volatile material 82.92%, ash 2.30%, heating value 18.34 MJ/kg, resistance 4.38 kg/cm2, time ignition 0.56 min; T2 with humidity 9.61%, volatile material 82.15%, ash 3.17%, heating value 18.01 MJ/kg, resistance 12.04 kg/cm2, ignition time 1.48 min; T3 with humidity 9.18%, volatile material 82.91%, ash 2.65%, heating value 18.28 MJ/kg, resistance 15.11 kg/cm2, ignition time 3.17 min; where T3 had the best calorific value, with a value of 18.28 MJ/kg, complying with this variable and the others in the NTC-2060, thus giving a positive response to the proposed hypothesis. |
