| description | The research was carried out with the objective of evaluating citizen participation mechanisms and their impact on decision-making in the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Rocafuerte period 2014 - 2017 to potentiate municipal management, in this exploration methods such as inductive and deductive were applied, since it started from bibliographic information sources and a transfer was made to the place of study where the following activities were carried out, the first where the regulatory public policies of GAD Rocafuerte were compared with the Organic Law of Citizen Participation and Social Control, the second consisted in applying instruments such as the interview and the survey to establish citizen participation mechanisms that influence decision-making, inputs that served as the basis for creating the improvement plan in order to solve the problems found that not only affect the GAD of Rocafuerte but also to the citizens, in regard to citizen participation. |
