A randomized complete block design (RCBD) was used, 500 plants were selected and distributed in 20 experimental units, five treatments and four replicates. The frequency with which the chemical products were applied was 30 days, with the doses recommended by the manufacturers (Azoxystrobin, Cyproconazole, Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate at 2ml/l and Chlorothalonil at 4gr/l). Phytosanitary and production variables were evaluated based on these fungicides. The frequency of data recording was every month. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed using Tukey's test 0.05, being semiannual for the phytosanitary variable and annual for the production variables. At the end of the two evaluation periods, the treatment that showed the greatest effectiveness on disease incidence was T1 (Azoxystrobin). This treatment showed efficacy on Moniliophthora roreri and Moniliophthora perniciosa, influencing production, which reached the highest yield (kg/ha/year). |

La investigación se llevó a cabo en el lote de cacao de la Unidad de Investigación docencia y vinculación de la carrera de Ingeniería Agrícola. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques completo al azar (DBCA), se seleccionaron 500 plantas distribuidas en 20 unidades experimentales, cinco tratamientos y cuatro replicas. La frecuencia con la que se aplicaron los productos químicos fue de 30 días, con la dosis recomendada por los fabricantes (Azoxystrobin, Ciproconazol, Sulfato de Cobre Pentahidratado a 2ml/l y Clorotalonil a 4gr/l). En función a estos fungicidas se evaluaron variables fitosanitarias y de producción. La frecuencia del registro de datos fue cada mes. El análisis de Varianza (ANOVA) se lo realizó mediante la prueba de Tukey0,05, siendo semestral para la variable fitosanitarias y anual para las de producción. Al finalizar los dos periodos de evaluación el tratamiento que mostró mayor efectividad sobre las incidencias de las enfermedades fue el T1 (Azoxystrobin).
