Derechos políticos en los ciudadanos para la participación ciudadana en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de la parroquia Ángel Pedro Giler

The present research was developed with the objective of determining the exercise of political rights of the citizens in Angel Pedro Giler parish and its influence in the citizen participation of the Decentralized Autonomous Government during the year 2022. For the fulfillment of this objective, methodologies related to the types of quali-quantitative and field research were proposed, through the support of the deductive, analytical and inductive methods, and evaluation instruments such as the interview and the survey. The results show problems in the execution of political rights due to the lack of training and dissemination mechanisms of these aspects to the inhabitants of the parish, on the other hand, citizen participation in Angel Pedro Giler parish is low, due to the lack of training in citizens and the limited socialization of the execution of these mechanisms by the parish GAD, in addition, the number of citizen assemblies stipulated in the national regulations in force are not carried out. If these inconsistencies are maintained, it would affect the management of political rights and citizen participation of the inhabitants in Angel Pedro Giler parish, which is why it is necessary to adopt the improvement strategies to guarantee the exercise of their rights and to promote the incidence, control and transparency of the exercise of public management.
