Four phases were projected; in the first one, a characterization of the territory and a multidimensional analysis were carried out using matrixes and mapping of actors; at the same time, 156 surveys were applied to the population of the parish which was in charge of knowing the perception regarding tourism. In the second phase, the evaluation of tourist resources was carried out through bibliographic review, observation and application of the potential matrix. In the third phase, we proceeded with the systematization of the problems and potentialities of the parish through a SWOT analysis, (EFI, EFE, internal and external matrixes). Finally, in the fourth phase, the tourism management plan was developed using matrixes and maps for the distribution of tourism resources and environmental units. It was possible to determine that Ricaurte has limitations in its local development due to the lack of support in the planning of strategies by the GAD. At the same time, there is a lack of services for the generation of tourist activities and there is difficulty in accessibility to resources and attractions. The territorial ordering plan presents viable strategies, programs and projects that contribute to the living conditions of the inhabitants and the strengthening of tourism development. |

The territorial ordering plan presents viable strategies, programs and projects that contribute to the living conditions of the inhabitants and the strengthening of tourism development.Este trabajo se realizó con la finalidad de diseñar un plan de ordenamiento turístico territorial para el desarrollo de la parroquia Ricaurte del cantón Chone, siendo una investigación documental-bibliográfica y de campo, con un enfoque exploratorio-descriptivo, basado en los métodos analítico-sintético y descriptivo, lo que permitió conocer la realidad del área en estudio y la incidencia que tiene la misma. Se proyectaron cuatro fases; en la primera, se realizó una caracterización del territorio y un análisis multidimensional empleando matrices y mapeo de actores, a su vez se aplicó 156 encuestas a la población de la parroquia, la cual sirvió para conocer la percepción en lo que respecta al turismo. En la segunda fase se realizó la evaluación de los recursos turísticos mediante revisión bibliográfica, observación y aplicación de la matriz de potencialidades. En la tercera fase se procedió con la sistematización de los problemas y potencialidades de la parroquia a través de un análisis FODA, matrices (EFI, EFE, interna y externa). Finalmente, en la cuarta fase, se diseñó el plan de ordenamiento turístico haciendo uso de matrices y mapas para la distribución de recursos turísticos y unidades ambientales. Se logró determinar que Ricaurte tiene limitaciones en su desarrollo local por la falta de apoyo en el planteamiento de estrategias por parte de los GAD. A su vez, faltan servicios para la generación de actividades turísticas y hay dificultad en la accesibilidad a los recursos y atractivos.
