Specific objectives were established to diagnose situation, SWOT analysis, formulating strategies for action and identifying programs and projects of the strategic plan. Diagnosis was obtained by concrete and specific data on the tourism situation in the canton Bolivar and developed a register of establishments providing tourism services. SWOT analysis allowed the identification of problems and formulating action strategies were developed by which programs and projects. Finally concluded that it is necessary to implement the strategic plan as it will improve the tourism industry and position has a tourist destination with quality services. |

Finally concluded that it is necessary to implement the strategic plan as it will improve the tourism industry and position has a tourist destination with quality services.La tesis titulada “Plan Estratégico Turístico del Cantón Bolívar, Provincia de Manabí” tuvo como objeto de estudio al cantón Bolívar, su objetivo general fue diseñar un plan estratégico turístico para el desarrollo del cantón Bolívar que garantice la sostenibilidad y el buen vivir de la población. Se establecieron como objetivos específicos realizar un diagnóstico situacional, análisis FODA, formulación de estrategias de acción y la determinación de los programas y proyectos del plan estratégico. Mediante el diagnóstico se obtuvieron datos concretos y específicos sobre la situación turística del cantón Bolívar y se elaboró un catastro de los establecimientos que prestan servicios turísticos. El análisis FODA permitió la identificación de problemas y formulación de estrategias de acción mediante las cuales se desarrollaron los programas y proyectos del plan.
