Descrição
Resumo:The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the noise pollution generated by fixed and mobile sources in the urban area of the Chone canton. The methods used were descriptive, deductive and statistical, while the techniques applied were direct observation, survey, measurement of sound pressure levels and georeferencing to determine the level of the problem. The identification of the fixed and mobile sources of noise generation was taken as a starting point, identifying mainly 275 fixed sources in the mixed commercial zone and as mobile sources 8160 light vehicles, 768 heavy vehicles and 4128 motorcycles in the educational hospital zone, this being the most crowded. The sound pressure levels were determined on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the times (7:00 to 7:30 am); (12:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and (5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.), reaching values of 65 to 74 dBA in the educational hospital area, greater than 70 dBA in the afternoon in the mixed commercial area and the mixed residential zone values that oscillate between 66 to 68 dBA in the afternoon and from 80 to 86 dBA at night on Saturday (10:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), all of them exceeding the maximum permissible limits established by the TULSMA, allowing to establish noise maps of the evaluated areas. Finally, a proposal for the mitigation and prevention of noise pollution in the city was prepared, establishing strategies to preserve the acoustic space, improving the quality of life of its population.
