Para aquello se analiza su diseño, considerando su atractivo y contenido, así como la importancia de los atributos que influyen sobre la imagen y la elección del destino. La investigación realizada sobre un conjunto de guías de destinos turísticos nacionales e internacionales, permite conocer la utilidad y satisfacción que proporcionan este instrumento de información turística. En el trabajo de campo se han obtenido 150 encuestas personales a visitantes que arriban desde los diferentes puntos de entradas al cantón Bolívar, así como también en zonas de mayor afluencia de turistas.
