| Summary: | This project aimed to evaluate public policy in child development centers (CDI) in Calceta city for the period 2020. The methods used were deductive, inductive, analytical and synthetic; in the first place, we proceeded to the investigation of bibliographic sources that provided theoretical support to the study; consecutively, a diagnosis of public policies and data obtained from field research instruments was carried out, interview applied to the district director 13D07 Chone Flavio - Alfaro of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) and the Decentralized Autonomous Government Bolivar (Department of Social Development) and in turn to the total of coordinators and educators and surveys aimed at 116 parents of the four centers. The analysis of the results determined that there are limitations such as lack of commitment of the Cantonal Gad with the educators, little support from the Municipality to provide didactic materials, there are no guardianship service in 3 centers, deterioration of the infrastructure of the centers and there are privileges in the allocation of quotas for children who enter these child care centers. Finally, it was possible to conclude that the policies are aimed at the protection of infants, however it is important that the institution accepts the improvement plan exposed to continuously improve and mitigate the problems that directly affect the centers. |
