To get the spatial distribution in each of the places in study, the Approximate Agglomeration Methodology was applied, resulting in the 4 zones a random dispersion which represents a totally random distribution of the individuals of each species also the maps were elaborated of each zone using a GIS Software. Through the verification of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and the Environmental Management Law, were proposed 10 Conservation Policies for the Dry Tropical Forests of the Province of Manabí. |

Through the verification of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and the Environmental Management Law, were proposed 10 Conservation Policies for the Dry Tropical Forests of the Province of Manabí.La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad evaluar la influencia de la competencia interespecífica entre el Ceibo (Ceiba trichistandra) y Guayacán (Tabebuia chrysantha) en la distribución espacial, para lo cual se determinó la competencia de las especies ya mencionada en 4 zonas diferentes que corresponden al Jardín Botánico de Portoviejo, la Parroquia de Canuto, San Vicente y Jipijapa, mediante los índices de biodiversidad, el Índice de Shannon en la zona del Jardín Botánico de Portoviejo fue de 0.40, en Canuto de 0, en San Vicente de 0.63 y en Jipijapa de 0.40, mientras que el Índice de Simpson en el Jardín Botánico de Portoviejo fue de 0.14, en Canuto de 0, en San Vicente de 0.27 y en Jipijapa de 0.15, y el cálculo del Índice de Pielou en la zona del Jardín Botánico de Portoviejo fue de 0.58, en Canuto de 0, en San Vicente de 0.91 y en Jipijapa de 0.58. Para obtener la distribución espacial en cada uno de los lugares en estudio se aplicó la metodología de la Aglomeración Aproximada, resultando en las 4 zonas una dispersión aleatoria lo cual representa una distribución totalmente al azar de los individuos de cada especie, además se elaboraron los mapas de cada zona utilizando un Software de SIG.
