總結:The analysis of the citizen participation of the Autonomous Government Decentralized of the Tosagua canton was focused on examining and knowing the mechanisms and initiatives of citizen participation with greater level of acceptance and interest on the part of the civil society, for that in the first instance proceeded to relate what Which stipulates the Constitution of the Republic, the Organic Law of Citizen Participation Social Control and the Organic Code of Territorial Organization, Autonomy and Decentralization, which determined that it is the duty of the respective authorities to promote the right to participate in respect to interests Collectives and resources destined by the state for the development of the different projects, in addition, it was necessary to interview the mayor and the Director of the Department of Social Management and Citizen Participation, where it was possible to know the commitment that the administration has in ensuring that Fulfill this right and coordinate activities that meet the needs of citizens; Consecutively through the documentary observation the mechanisms with greater assistance by the citizens were perceived, being these participative budgets, cantonal assemblies and empty chair; Also the projects carried out during the study period. On the other hand, through the survey, the lack of knowledge of the people was evident, so that it is necessary that the representatives be trained to promote and that they, in turn, communicate to the public the importance of full democracy through Exchange of views.
