Riassunto:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of job satisfaction in teachers of Public Administration and Veterinary Medicine majors at Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López so that it contributes to the improvement in productivity and performance. The methods used were inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic, while the types of bibliographic, field and descriptive research were used. This work was developed through three stages: In the first, the theoretical foundations that influence job satisfaction were identified through bibliographic sources that provided technical support to the study. In the second stage, an interview was carried out with the directors and academic coordinators of the aforementioned careers; also, a survey was applied to teachers, an instrument that allowed measuring job satisfaction in several dimensions: empathy, productivity, performance, soft skills. In the third stage, the proposal was raised through an improvement plan, establishing the strategies and possible solutions that the university must promote in order to achieve teacher satisfaction. With the development of the research in the institution, problems of excessive extracurricular events that interrupt class hours with administrative management hours were detected, obtaining 66% totally agree, so it is recommended that there be proper planning so that the student's schedule teachers are not interrupted.
