Shrnutí:In this paper, a technology was propose for the assessment of the socio-economic impact of the ergonomics intervention programs in companies. This was carried out in units of Teaching, Research and Linking of Agricultural, Agro industrial and Animal science careers of the ESPAM “MFL”. The methodologies, methods, tools and techniques were adapted and created to develop a systematic procedure and objective, which could be incorporated into any type of business. This was represented in four stages; I. Description of the current status of the job, II. Development of the improvement program, III. Implementation of improvement measures, IV. Monitoring and control. This procedure identifies the problems, describes the causes and effects, estimated the magnitude of the risk and assess of the consequences for the company and the workers, also presents a plan of improvement that helps to mitigate the problems encountered in occupational health and safety. Also it sets the index of Social Cost (CS) that determines the total amount that the workers would be willing to pay and eliminate risk. In addition, two specific procedures were implemented, the first looks at the costs associated with accidents by applying the methodology of approach based on the activities and importance in the matrix-presence, second focuses on the implementation of the actions, by setting the value of the investment and ensuring sustainable profitability. Finally, it ensures the implementation of the procedure effectively and accurately to the decision-making.
