Sumario:The present work aimed to establish a system of medicinal gardens based on the use value of medicinal plants and their relationship with the treatment of common diseases in San Bartolo (Calceta) and Los Dichosos (El Carmen) communities. A diagnosis was made through a survey divided into 2 blocks, the first block consisted of 6 questions and the second block of 9, in which the use values of medicinal plants and their relationships in the treatment of the most common diseases were identified, being the dead rose, mastranto, eucalyptus, teatina, basil and sour cane the most common to treat gastritis, gas, shock, obesity and colic in general. Three workshops were held, two theoretical and one practical, accompanied by an environmental education strategy following the guidelines of the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Ecological Transition, which respond to a specific format aimed at fulfilling a specific part in the process of implementation of the orchards. Subsequently, the workshops were evaluated using the Chi-Square test, showing that the participants scored with the workshops in a satisfactory and totally satisfactory way.
