description The objective of this research was to determine the prevalence of Brucella abortus and Hemotropics in bovines from agroecological and conventional farms in Ricaurte parish in Chone canton. For its development, laboratory techniques and surveys were applied. The prevalence of Brucella abortus and Hemotropics was determined through the use of the Rose Bengal technique and slow tube agglutination (SAT) and the Woo method and by Giemsa staining. The results showed that there is no prevalence of Brucella abortus in agroecological farms while in conventional farms there was a 10% prevalence of the disease. On the other hand, in the agroecological farms there was no prevalence of Trypanosoma spp, but 50% for Anaplasma marginale and 1,66% for Babesia spp; while in conventional farms it prevailed was 0% for Trypanosoma spp, 71,66% for Anaplasma marginale and 6,66% for Babesia. Finally, risk factors such as ignorance of Brucellosis disease, increase in ectoparasites in winter, presence of other animals in the bovine herd, do not have a sanitary registry, do not have a brucellosis-free certificate, thus promoting their development. For agroecological farms there is no prevalence of Brucella abortus as occurs in conventional farms that, if there is prevalence, for Trypanosoma spp there is no prevalence either in agroecological farms or in conventional farms, however, in Anaplasma marginale and Babesia there is prevalence in both types of farms. The hypothesis proposed in the study is accepted.

The hypothesis proposed in the study is accepted.
