總結:The objective of this research was to evaluate the bioadsorption efficiency of cocoa shell (Theobroma cacao L.) in the removal of lead and aluminum in wastewater from the “La Sin Par'' car lubricant. To carry out the study, 400 g of cocoa shell was used as elemental material, which was subjected to a dehydration, grinding and sieving process; obtaining cocoa shell flour in diameters of 850 um and 1 mm. Initially, the characterization of the wastewater was carried out where a lead concentration of 0.017 ppm and aluminum a value of 1.016 ppm was obtained. The experimental scheme used was a Completely Randomized Design (DCA) with a factorial arrangement of 2^2, where four treatments and three repetitions were applied, obtaining a total of 12 experimental units to which the particle diameter (850 um) was combined and 1 mm) and amount of cocoa shell (10 and 15 g), the pH of the residual water was adjusted to 4 and a contact time of the material with the residual water of 6 h. The results obtained demonstrated the removal of lead and aluminum in all treatments. However, treatment T2 (15 g of 850 um cocoa flour) presented better bioadsorption characteristics in both metals, with 94.12% removal for lead and 46.49% for aluminum.
