| Gaia: | Currently, organizational culture represents what identifies an institution, as in the case of the cooperative sector. In this context, the objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between the type of organizational culture and the financial performance of savings and credit cooperatives in the Bolivar canton, in order to identify the level of influence between these two variables. In the research methodology, a descriptive approach with correlational scope was determined, seeking to apply a varied instrument that would allow evidencing the relationship between the typologies of organizational culture and financial performance. This analysis was based on inferential statistical tests. The results highlight, in the first instance, the predominance of an integrative and demanding organizational culture as the main ones within the institutions evaluated. In relation to the correlational analysis, it was observed that, within the study sample, there is a significant positive correlation in certain cases, while in others a negative correlation was identified. It is also concluded that there is a clear relationship between the type of organizational culture and the financial performance of the entities. In this sense, it is essential to align institutional values with institutional goals in order to positively impact financial performance. In addition, the importance of continually evaluating financial performance to ensure its sustainability and improvement is highlighted. |
