Резюме:This research proposes the design of a community tourism center at the site of La Esperanza, Quiroga parish Region Bolivar, Manabí province, where the dam is located Sixto Duran Ballen, to implement activities and tourism services to promote conservation of natural resources found in the study area and motivate the need to respect cultural events. One important aspect to build a sustainable economy is to build community resources available to the territory, particularly to promote community tourism, this perspective is encouraging tourism development in the area, by incorporating a tourism center community, provided with basic infrastructure, services, according to the demands of domestic and foreign tourism. The implementation of the community tourism center will expose the natural beauty and the flora, fauna, natural, cultural, political maintaining traditional use, management and conservation of resources. Additionally, the center seeks to promote tourism and strengthen community development and tourism in the region. Finally it was determined that the project is feasible for the initial investment of $25,629.21, giving an TIR of 93% and a VAN of $ 78,900.70. Concluding with the project that provides the greatest benefits and alternatives to the local development of the inhabitants of these communities.
