总结:This work was carried out in Manabí, in Tosagua, Rocafuerte and Sucre cantons, during the summer season 2019. The specific objectives set were: diagnosis of the current weed control situation in rice cultivation, identification of the presence of weeds with possible herbicide resistance and verification of the weed resistance identified, with selective post-emergent herbicides. The methodology of this research was developed in three stages: The first was to apply a modified FAO survey to carry out the diagnosis and determine the current weed control situation. The second stage was aimed at identifying weeds with possible herbicide resistance. And the third, was to verify through the dose-response test the resistance of the weeds identified, sowing 20 seeds of Leptochloa uninervia L. in pots to subsequently apply the seven doses Cyhalofop butyl when the weeds presented two to three leaves. The results highlight that the main weeds present in the rice batches are Leptochloa uninervia L. and Echinochloa crus-galli L., for which the producers carry out control until thirty days after transplantation with selective post-emergent herbicides. These weeds at the batch level showed resistance, since the commercial dose did not cause death according to the ALAM scale. In the dose response experiment, it was verified that Leptochloa uninervia L. is not resistant, being susceptible to the commercial dose of Cyhalofop butyl in Tosagua, Rocafuerte and Sucre cantons.
