The determination of the elements is vital for no delays and eases the design of the plate for proper implementation of the components in it and create conditions for the automation of the irrigation system through programming, the same as for validating operation are necessary testing. |

The determination of the elements is vital for no delays and eases the design of the plate for proper implementation of the components in it and create conditions for the automation of the irrigation system through programming, the same as for validating operation are necessary testing.En este trabajo se describe la automatización de un sistema de riego para el cultivo de cacao (Theobroma cacao L) de la ESPAM MFL; previo a realizar la sistematización se recabó información acerca de las necesidades hídricas del cultivo, posteriormente se diseñó el circuito principal en DipTrace estableciendo los componentes necesarios para el ensamblaje del mismo; asimismo la creación del código fuente para el microcontrolador en PIC CSS Compiler, el cual se validaba mediante el Proteus, que constató a través de la simulación del dispositivo el funcionamiento lógico indicado al finalizar la programación y las pruebas físicas que se hicieron al encender el dispositivo en la estación de las válvulas ubicadas en la Carrera de Agrícola.
