| Gaia: | The Carrizal micro-watershed in Bolivar canton, Manabí province, is one of the 30 hydrological sources that are not currently being monitored, which hinders good planning and management of water resources. The research analyzed the behavior of the hydrological cycle, applying a Tetis distributed model for hydrological modeling using information on precipitation, flow rates, geomorphological maps (digital elevation model [DEM], slopes, flow directions, accumulated cells, slope velocity), hydrological parameter maps (static storage [Hu], infiltration capacity [Ks], percolation capacity [Kp], interflow hydraulic conductivity [Kss], aquifer hydraulic conductivity [Ksa], loss capacity to the deep aquifer [Kps]). The model calibration was carried out in the Sarampión microbasin on 10-11/07/2023, from 06:00 AM to 01:25 AM, obtaining a Nash index of 0.9268 accepting the process. On the other hand, a spatial validation was performed with the Platanales microbasin station with date and time of calibration, where the model was considered spatially validated with a Nash index of 0.5906. A temporal and spatio-temporal validation was also performed on 07/15-16/2023, from 12:00 PM to 09:35 AM, where the model was not validated in the temporal validation because its Nash index was 0, unlike the spatio-temporal validation, where a Nash index of 0.6969 was obtained, thus validating the model. |
