Estudio del perfil socio-económico de estudiantes de primero y segundo nivel de la ESPAM MFL, periodo Abril/2019-Marzo/2020

The objective of this research was to design an improvement plan based on the socio-economic profile of the students entering the undergraduate programs at Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López. The methodology used in the development of the research was field and documentary, through the survey and the interview that allowed the collection, tabulation and analysis of the socio-economic data found in the survey applied to 924 students and the interview with the eight directors of the degree races of the ESPAM MFL. The statistical system SPSS (Statiscal Package for the Social Sciences) version 23 was used as a processor of the variables with their quantitative data, also the methods: deductive, inductive and synthetic analytical facilitated the analysis of each of the social and economic variables that affect directly in the performance of the students, giving way to carrying out the SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats that the institution presents, based on the weaknesses and threats, a strategic plan was prepared with improvement actions that contribute to the permanence and improvement of their academic performance.
