Ամփոփում: | This research deals with the relationship between the burning of stubble and the community of lizards (Sauria) in maize crops located in sites with similar geographic and ecological characteristics of Piñuela (without burning) and The Lemon (with burning), in Calceta, through the placement of pitfall traps and the realization of transects on an area of 3,486m2 in the burning area and 3,272m2 in the area without burning. Monitoring was carried out from Monday to Friday, between 12 and 14 hours of the day for 4 months, with two replicates of traps in each study area, to cover a larger area and ensure reliable results. At the end of the monitoring period, a total of 13 individuals from 2 different species, Stenocercus iridescens and Iguana Iguana, could be captured (the latter was only observed and a specimen was captured for identification); (8 in the area without burning and 5 in the burning), and observe a total of 52 individuals: (18 in the area with burning and 34 in the non-burning of S. iridescens) and 7 Iguana Iguana in the without burning. In both areas, due to the monocultures made, it is applied periodically in times of planting and harvesting agrochemicals that could cause affectation to the communities under study such as malathion, matamaleza, thiodicarb and cypermethrin. Due to the characteristics of the area, the transect technique proved to be more appropriate and efficient to measure and quantify the communities of Saurias |
