Evaluación de la ejecución presupuestaria en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del cantón Chone, periodo 2020-2021

The study presented was important to evaluate the budget execution of the Decentralized Autonomous Government in Chone canton in the period 2020-2021. To achieve this objective, the various methods required were applied, including; deductive, inductive and analytical method, thus giving direction to the development of the research; application of relevant information enabling technologies such as the interview applied to the financial director of the GAD and surveys applied to the users in Chone canton to determine the degree of impact by COVID-19, based on the foundation, reliable and true results were obtained offering to know a budget reduction of 35%, this directly affected the entire population of this canton, mainly the projects, programs and works planned for the year 2020-2021. A diagnosis of efficiency and effectiveness related to the evaluation of budget execution was implemented based on the results obtained. Then the strategies provided are very supportive, so they can be used for the mitigation of risks associated with factors such as reducing the efficiency of management and income and expense accounts.
