Plan de negocios para la creación de una aplicación móvil de metrología bovina

This project seeks through the application of Bovine Methodology a crucial solution for cattle breeding in Manabí, where livestock activity is a family livelihood, seeking to ensure fair prices by controlling and accurately estimating the weight of the animal by providing information with records and statistics; the report contains data that support the feasibility of the project within the four areas: Market, technical, organizational and financial. The main mission of the project is “to provide a quality service in the purchase and sale of cattle, ensuring a balance between price and weight of the animal, with the objective of reducing subjectivity in marketing”, which will guarantee the objective valuation of cattle for market stability and informed decision making. Short-term projections focus on disseminating the application as a reliable tool, medium-term projections focus on reaching 80% adoption in northern Manabí with continuous improvements, and long-term projections focus on geographic expansion and consolidation as an essential solution at the national level. Financially, the project demonstrates a robust viability supported by a Net Present Value (NPV) of $58,653.62, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 15.2%, a Benefit/Cost Ratio (B/C) of 1.31, and an Investment Recovery Period (IRP) of 3.1 years, indicating a rapid return on investment and maximization of profitability, with a target of 80% sales in the first year within the target audience.
