Description
Summary:The objective of the research was to study the effect of seaweed-based biostimulants doses on the cultivation of cowpea beans (Vigna unguiculata L. walp), under the environmental conditions of the ESPAM MFL campus. A randomized complete block design (RCBD) with two factors (AxB+1), seven treatments and four repetitions with a total of 28 experimental units was drawn. The treatments were T1 (Extract of seaweed in doses of 0.5 L.ha), T2 (Extract of seaweed/0.75 L.ha), T3 (Extract of seaweed/1 L.ha), T4 (Basfoliar algae/ 0.5 L.ha), T5 (Basfoliar Algae/0.75 L.ha), T6 (Basfoliar Algae/1 L.ha), and control. The analysis of variance showed that the biostimulants promoted the development of bean pod length and number of seeds; the application doses of the evaluated biostimulants did not influence the output of the cowpea crop; the economic analysis revealed that Seaweed extract in doses of 1 L.ha gave the highest net benefits
