Ամփոփում:The main objective of this research was to design strategic ecotourism guidelines for the protected area "Lalo Loor Dry Forest in Jama". Three phases were developed. In the first one, a tourist diagnosis was elaborated, where the socioenvironmental characterization of the place was carried out highlighting the biotic, abiotic and biodiversity elements; tools such as technical visits, diagnostic files, tourist inventory cards, interviews and surveys were used. As a result, the three zones that make up the forest (sustainable zone-environmental recovery, tourist zone and productive-public area) were established as a result of the GIS program, using satellite imagery and the application of georeferencing. In addition, a tourist inventory was developed that identified the main natural and cultural resources. To evaluate the tourist situation, a strategic diagnosis was used to determine the main internal and external factors that influence the area of the Lalo Loor protective forest. A market analysis was carried out, through surveys evaluating supply, demand and competitors. In the second phase, the strategic guidelines for ecotourism development were designed for the mission, vision, values, objectives, policies, programs and projects that strengthen ecotourism in the area of study.
