All data from this research were analyzed using the Generalized Linear Mixed Models (MLGM) procedure for families of binary data with logit link to determine significant differences (p<0.05). The 7-day J-Synch treatment generated a higher pregnancy rate (p=0.04) (62.0%) than the conventional one (40.0%). Progesterone levels were higher in the 7-day J-Synch cows (4.4 ng/mL), while estradiol levels were similar between groups. The 7-day J-Synch treatment is a viable alternative for the correct synchronization of heat in zebu cattle with calves at the foot. |

Se utilizaron vacas (n= 200) que representaron a las unidades experimentales. Para lo siguiente se realizaron dos grupos: el grupo 1 estuvo conformado con el protocolo J-synch (n=100) y en el grupo 2 con el protocolo convencional con cipionato de estradiol (n=100). Todos los datos de esta investigación fueron analizados mediante el procedimiento de los modelos lineales generalizados mixtos (MLGM) para familia de datos binarios con enlace logit para determinar diferencias significativas (p<0,05). El tratamiento J-Synch 7 días generó una mayor (p=0,04) tasa de preñez (62,0%) que el convencional (40,0%). Los niveles de progesterona fueron mayores en las vacas J-Synch 7 días (4,4 ng/mL) mientras que los de estradiol fueron similares entre los grupos.
