Análisis de las dimensiones culturales en los productores de cítricos de la ciudad de Chone

The present investigation consisted of carrying out an analysis of the cultural dimensions in the citrus producers of the city of Chone, in relation to the socioeconomic level that each one of these producers presents. The research was explanatory, exploratory and non-experimental, applying a quantitative and qualitative methodology, four phases were addressed: the first phase consisted of theoretically substantiating the cultural dimensions to validate the applicability of the model to the citrus production sector, during the second phase The socioeconomic characterization of the critics' producers was carried out through the application of surveys using the INEC questionnaire for the Stratification of the Socioeconomic Level as a tool. During the third phase, an analysis of the statistical correlation between the cultural dimensions versus the level was carried out. economic partner of the object of study, for this a survey was carried out on the same citrus producers but this time using the VSM 94 questionnaire to determine the indicators of the cultural dimensions and then using the scatter diagram and the Pearson correlation to determine the relationship between these variables, concluding that the power distance, long-term orientation, and individualism indexes have a good relationship with the socioeconomic level, while the masculinity and risk uncertainty indices have a low relationship with the socioeconomic level of citrus growers. Finally, an action plan aimed at improving the socioeconomic level of citrus producers from Chone was proposed.
