Para estudiar las variables de gastronomía típica y atractivos turísticos del cantón; de a cuerdo a su opinión los resultados fueron el 63,46% califica s u gastronomía poco variada, el 24,42% no tiene variedad y el 12,09% de los encuestados opina que es muy variada. Atractivos turísticos: el 89,67% que son pocos los atractivos turísticos; el 5.54% opinó que existen muchos; el 4.03% desconocen. Como conclusiones podemos mencionar que la gastronomía típica del cantón se limita a unas pocas preparaciones y los lugares turísticos son diversos, la información que posee la gente sobre estos es escaza. Se recomienda a los dueños de negocios; operadores turísticos se preocupen más acerca de los atractivos turísticos del cantón, que las autoridades pongan énfasis e inviertan en el turismo, y que los centros de información estén mejor equipados con levantamientos bibliográficos sobre este tema. |

The research methods were conducted through interviews and surveys conducted among the canton's urban population, with a sample of 397 people: 277 men and 120 women. To study the variables of the canton's typical gastronomy and tourist attractions, the results were: 63.46% rated their gastronomy as lacking in variety, 24.42% lacking in variety, and 12.09% of respondents believed it to be very varied. Tourist attractions: 89.67% believed there were few tourist attractions; 5.54% believed there were many; and 4.03% were unaware. In conclusion, we can mention that the canton's typical gastronomy is limited to a few dishes and that the tourist attractions are diverse, so people have little information about them.
