La compartición de infraestructura es una medida que, si es correctamente aplicada, permite crear un entorno de sana competencia entre los distintos operadores de telecomunicaciones de cualquier país, evitando así cualquier tipo de monopolio en el sector de las telecomunicaciones. De igual manera se analizan las Resoluciones emitidas por las entidades reguladoras de las telecomunicaciones del país, cuyo objetivo es establecer un marco regulatorio justo y eficaz al momento de permitir o negar el acceso y uso compartido de infraestructura física de telecomunicaciones entre las distintas empresas de este sector estratégico. También se analiza un caso de compartición de infraestructura entre los operadores de Servicio Móvil Avanzado del país, y las acciones tomadas por el Órgano Regulador para dar solución a este caso. Finalmente se plantean propuestas con la finalidad de hacer más justo y transparente el proceso de compartir infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones; estas propuestas están dirigidas tanto a las empresas como al órgano regulador de las telecomunicaciones del país. |

Infrastructure sharing is a measure that, if properly applied, allows to create an environment of healthy competition between telecom operators in any country, avoiding any kind of monopoly in the telecommunications sector. Similarly, Resolutions issued by regulators in telecommunications in the country are analyzed, these were issued to establish a fair and effective regulatory framework at the time of permitting or denying access and shared use of telecommunications infrastructure between different companies in this strategic sector. One case of infrastructure sharing among operators of Advanced Mobile Service in the country, and the actions taken by the regulatory body to resolve that case are also discussed.
