David Broder, periodista del Washington Post y ganador del Premio Pulitzer, cree que la prensa debe tomar un papel más activo en la lucha contra la propaganda poi ítica negativa. En un discurso en la Universidad de Stanford, el mismo ofreció el remedio de la "inoculación".
