要約:The economic, political, social crisis and the economic blockade that Venezuela suffers have led its inhabitants to migrate to neighboring countries such as Ecuador, between 2016 and 2018 there was an increase in migrants who decided to settle in the Ecuadorian territory. Faced with the massive arrival of Venezuelans, the relationship between migration and the increase in insecurity in the country is analyzed, crimes committed by migrants using the theory of tension. Bibliographic references will be used to support the theoretical framework and the statistical data provided by the National Police of Ecuador and the Administrative records of the Deprivation of Liberty Centers will be analyzed, to know the crimes committed by Venezuelan migrants, a population that is deprived of freedom and determine if the tension suffered by the migrant can lead to criminal actions.
